The different means of transportation of Filipinos used for their everyday life.

JEEPNEY
it is the most popular utility vehicle in the Philippines. it was originally made from U.S military jeeps that left over from World War II. it used all over the country and become one of the trademark of Philippine culture.


BUS
Bus are typically made for a long distances transportation. Compared to jeepney bus can accommodate hundred of passengers, much comfortable than jeepney. it classified into two types: the Ordinary and Air Conditioned bus.



TRICYCLE
it was claimed as third wonder of Philippine transportation. This three-wheeled vehicle is known on its versatility. tricycle rules inner roads and alley, it can go from one street corner to the next and even in places where there no identified pathways. Its can also drop you at your exact address that the jeepney and bus can't do because they have exact routes to go.


PEDICAB
An environmental freindly vehicle for being a pollution free. a bicycle with sidecar, it can only accomodate 3 passengers and only for a short distance transportation.
TROLLEY
a very unique means of transportation in the Philippines, platform with improvised wheels of bearing, push into the railways of train. In the railways nearby Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Manila for example, the residents and some students are using trolley on their everyday travel. it is unique and cool that a first time may feel amaze like riding in a roller coaster, typically carried 8-12 passengers.



KALESA
first introduced in 18Th century during Spanish colonial and become a means of transportation. pulled by horse, this type of transportation become rarely as modernity comes in. however, Kalesa are still in demand for agricultural area in transporting commodities and used for tourism purposes especially in Intramuros manila. it indeed part of life of the Filipinos since Spanish time. in fact, some provinces are still preserving and using Kalesa like in City of Vigan, Laoag, Iligan, Cagayan and Tugegarao City.


PARAGOS
it is widely used in a rural agricultural area especially in the country like Philippines. it is pulled by Carabaos (kalabaw in Pilipino) that carried products such as fruits, vegetables and others to transport.
